Plumb Cedar Axe
With a cedar-pattern head at just around 2 lbs, this was what the old timers called a boy's axe. Some of my favorite axes are of this size. Big enough to drop and limb a small tree or do camp chores with ease, yet small enough to swing for hours. Great to take canoeing too.
25" hickory haft is a replacement from original, and does show some wear, but is solid. Head has seen some good work days, but is still sharp and ready to go.
