Knife 267 Masur Birch Backwoods Hunter
The Masur Birch Backwoods Hunter knife features a 4-1/2" hand-forged blade, which was hand-forged from 11/16" high-carbon 01 tool steel round bar stock. The bade has been finished to 2K grit. The convex ground blade has an initial flat grind with secondary convex edge geometry. Keenly sharp with great balance in the hand. Knife is 9-1/2" in overall length.
The blade is mortised into a Ram's horn guard. Directly behind the guard is a red, white and brass spacer stack. A beautiful section of stabilized and dyed Masur birch burl and a section whitetail stag beam complete the handle .
The Karam Handmade Frontier sheath features 11-oz Hermann Oak leather.
The front features a hand-tooled and hand painted birch leaves, to complete the birch theme.
The Frontier sheath has a custom-fit Kydex lining to hold this knife securely in place. The Kydex has been lined with wool felt for a quiet seating of the blade. Super strong Kangaroo lacing and copper rivets make sure it's built for the long haul.
A beautiful one-of-a-kind knife and sheath set, that is entirely handmade by me, in my shop.
