Knife 260 "Black Bear" Backwoods Hunter
The "Black Bear" Backwoods Hunting knife features a 4-5/8" blade which was hand-forged from 3/4" 01 tool steel round stock. The convex ground, satin finish blade has a nice upswept curve and a distal taper.
The guard is ram's horn and the spacers are maroon, white, and black. The handle is beautiful sambar stag. Supporting the theme of the knife is a hand-inked bear on the end of the handle.
The Karam Handmade Frontier sheath features 12oz Hermann Oak leather. The front carries the bear theme even further with hand-tooled bear tracks. Also included is a bear claw adornment with turquoise inlay. This can easily be removed if desired.
Just like my other Frontier sheaths, it has a custom-fit Kydex lining to hold this knife securely in place. Kangaroo lacing is the best you can get. Copper rivet fastened belt loop is rock-solid.
