Knife 210 Little Companion
I created the Little Companion line of knives a few years back when I had a friend ask me to forge him a very small and light knife.
This particular knife features a 2-1/2" hand forged blade of 3/16", 01 tool steel. The super sharp edge has a slight upswept curve. The handle is premium cocobolo wood with white and black G10 spacers. The bolster is ram's horn which has been hand-filed and mortised to hold the blade seamlessly. The knife is accompanied by a hand-tooled, hand-sewn, wrap-around sheath design, featuring an oak leaf and an arrowhead.
A hand-filed copper arrowhead rivet gives the sheath extra strength and adds a nice artistic touch. This knife is so light, it can ride on your hip without you hardly knowing it's there. Makes a great small game skinner or for just whittling on an autumn afternoon.
