Custom Casstrom #10 SFK Knife with Cocobolo wood
This is a custom project I recently made. It is a Casstrom #10 SFK (Swedish Forest Knife) featuring Sleipner Steel, with Custom Cocobolo wood scales and Coyote brown G10 liners. The handle scales are fastened to the full tang with hand-peened copper pins and 2-ton epoxy.
I have also created a matching 3/8" Ferro Rod with Cocobolo wood handle.
Both the knife and ferro rod come with a Badger Claw Outfitters, Crazy Horse leather belt sheath.
The Casstrom #10 Sleipner steel blade is 4" long and is scandi-ground to a razor edge. Perfect for bushcraft and wood-working chores, as the scandi blade cuts effortlessly through wood. The full tang will withstand batoning and heavy camp work.
The ferro rod can be used in conjunction with the blade spine for lighting your camp stove or sparking tinder.
A custom made set with premium cocobolo that will sure to be useful for many years to come.
