CASE 6375 Stockman knife
This is a CASE 6375 vintage pocket knife. The stamp on the main blade dates it to 1972. It is a stockman model with squared nickel silver bolsters and pins with brass liners. Jigged chestnut brown bone handles are in pristine condition. If the light catches the handles the right way, they show off beautiful red highlights.
Those of you not familiar with Case knives from the seventies, the age is determined by the dots under the stamp on the tang of the main blade. This knife has 8 dots and is from 1972.
Blades consist of the main clip, sheepsfoot and spey. The main clip blade has the case XX USA stamp with dots on one side and the model number on the other. This model number refers to the materials and configuration. "6" being bone handles, "3" being the number of blades and "75" being the pattern.
There are a few very slight rubmarks on the blades from opening/closing. Pretty normal for vintage multi-blade pocket knives. Knife is in original unsharpened condition and would be graded between excellent and near mint.
This beautiful Case pocket knife is 45 years old and would make a great addition to your collection.
